Rectifier Instructions
1. Move the multi-tour potentiometer which is on the front side
of the rectifier throughly contrary to the clockwise direction.
2. Alfa Gamma rectifiers are designed for charging series connected accumulators.
3. Red connector which is on the frontside of the rectifier indicates
positive (+), black
connector indicates negative (-)
4. Connect the red cable given with the rectifier to the red connector & connect the black
cable to the black connector.
5. Connect the red crocodile to the positive side of the series
connected accumulators
then connect the black crocodile to the
negative side of the series connected accumulators.
6. Plug the rectifier in to the 220 V socket.
7. Switch the circuit breaker to the position 1 (on).
8. Turn the multi-tour potentiometer slowly clockwise and read it through
ampermeter. Charge current must be C/10. Charge current must be 6 amp
for a
60 amp accumulator.
Charge
current must be 7,5 amp for a 7,5 amp accumulator.
9. Press the red start button unless it starts charging.
10. When the accumulator is full, charge is cut & ampermeter shows zero.
11. The voltage for cutting charge is 28 V. If the accumulator voltage
decreases to 25,5 V
after the charge cut, the rectifier will start charging.
12. After the charge has cut, press the start/test button for controlling,
charging starts for
a little while; then it stops charging again. |
