Alfa Gamma Rectifier Spesifications

Alfa Gamma rectifiers are current adjustable and current limited rectifiers. Current
adjustment is provided by the help of the multi-tour potentiometer. Charge current
is consequently allowable time for charging a fully emptied accumulator is averagely
10 hours. Increasing the current leads to cut down charge time; on the other hand
it damages accumulator. Charging continues until the voltage of the accumulator
connected
to the rectifier reaches the level as 2.3 Volt per cell. When the voltage
of the
accumulator reaches that level, the current cuts down and the current holds
on till the
voltage of the accumulator decreases down to 2.1 V.When the voltage
of the accumulator
reaches that level, charging begins once again. Consequently
charging continues with this
ON/OFF process.
Alfa Gamma rectifiers are protected against the excessive current by the help of circuit
breaker, besides being protected electronically with the current limitation. Electronic
current
limitation is done by the help of current transformer being put in to the input
of the
transformer. Voltage & charge current of the accumulator which the rectifier is
charging can
be seen by the voltmeter which is on the frontside of the product. Also
there is a charge
start button on the front side of the rectifier. This button is used
for activating the charging
process if it stops charging. This button is only for control
purpose. The
rectifier will
automatically start charging if the charging process is
required, even the button is not
pressed. Charging process stops again when the
voltage reaches the level as 2.3 Volt per cell.
